BFE and PFE greater than 99%
Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) and Particle Filtration Efficiency (PFE) is greater that 99% of particles greater than 0.1 microns, with excellent breathability. The masks are produced with ear loops.
Breathability (Delta P)
The level 3 surgical mask provides excellent breathability with a low delta P (<5). This means maximum comfort and coolness is achieved when in use. Delta P is a comfort measure of the mask breathability of the mask in relation to the user. The lower the P, the greater the comfort.
Fluid Resistant 160mmHG
This indicates the level of fluid and splash resistance. This is the maximum protection and accords with ASTM F1862-98 and ASTM F1862-00a standard testing methods for resistance of surgical face masks to penetration of synthetic blood at 160mmHg pressures.
Flammability Protection
Our level 3 surgical masks are rated at Class 1 protection against any flame spread.
